Tenomar expands the technical scope of its ENAC accreditation
At Tenomar, we remain committed to quality, analytical precision and the continuous improvement of our services. To this end, we have expanded the technical scope of our ENAC accreditation, incorporating new analytical parameters and extending our technical capabilities across various food and beverage sectors.
This expansion represents a significant strengthening of our analysis and control services, enabling us to offer our clients a more comprehensive, specialised service tailored to the sector’s evolving demands.
New accredited parameters
Notable among the new accreditations are:
- Wine, must, wine-based drinks, cider, beer, spirits and ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin, vinegars, soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages:
- Elements analysed by mass spectrometry (ICP-MS): Mercury, Tin, Boron, Aluminium, Chromium, Manganese, Cobalt, Nickel, Selenium, Silver, Antimony. In addition to the above-mentioned accredited elements: Arsenic, Cadmium, Copper, Iron, Lead, Zinc.
- Wine, wine-based beverages and vinegars: Chlorides and TPI (Total Polyphenol Index), Energy value by calculation.
- Wines, wine-based beverages, dealcoholised wine, cider, spirit drinks (except creams), vinegars: Gluten quantification by immunoturbidimetry (detection of post-fermentation contamination)
- Spirits (except creams): fixed acidity and volatile acidity. In addition to the above accredited tests, total acidity.
- Beer: EBC colour
- Wine, vinegar, wine-based drinks, dealcoholised wine, beer, spirits: actual content (nominal volume)
Beer, spirit drinks (except creams), soft drinks, non-alcoholic beverages: Sorbic acid, benzoic acid, salicylic acid by liquid chromatography (LC-DAD). This complements the previously accredited tests: wine, wine-based beverages, must and cider. - Cork stoppers: Extraction strength
This expansion of our accredited scope strengthens Tenomar’s technical capability to deliver reliable, accurate results that are aligned with the current needs of the agri-food and beverage sector.
